It is time for bold and comprehensive reform—we need to eliminate permanent punishments by dismantling the laws and regulations that govern them. We cannot roll back each policy one at a time: this is an emergency. Too many people in Illinois are suffering from permanent punishments.

The Fully Free Campaign is drawing from research and working in partnership with directly impacted people, as well as our coalition partners, to create and pursue a multi-year advocacy strategy to work with Illinois leaders and eliminate permanent punishments.  

Everyone deserves to fully access housing, education, employment, and opportunity. The Fully Free Campaign has the potential to provide hope and opportunity for people with records, and heal communities.
